Maintenance and Repair
UPS Servicing
We will arrange for one of our UPS Engineers to attend site to carry out UPS Maintenance.
This will include a thorough inspection of the UPS with replacements being fitted as and when necessary in line with contract type.
Our visit will include the following checks and tests:
Rectifier, AC/DC, Battery charger
- Visual check of wiring, cables and interconnections
- Visual check of the devices, PCB’s drivers
- Measurements: input current, DC voltage, battery current limitation
- Check of alarms and parameters
Inverter DC/AC
- Visual check of wiring, cables and interconnections
- Visual check of the devices, PCB’s drivers
- Inverter input current check
- Verification of voltage variation at the inverter input
- Measurement of the inverter output voltage on all phases
- Verification of synchronisation between emergency line and Inverter
- Monitor and verify system parameters as shown on the panel display and with software.
Static Switch AC/AC
- Visual check of wiring, cables and interconnections
- Visual check of PCB drivers/Contactor
- Bypass line input voltage check
- Verification of bypass line / inverter synchronisation
- Inverter to bypass transfer (and vice-versa)
- Manual bypass check
Batteries
- Visual inspection
- Battery Age
- Tightness Check
- Battery test
- Battery discharge test (connected load)
- Load bank testing (POA)
System
- Cleaning
- Ventilation
- Temperature (System and Ambient)
PPM
Our engineer will answer any questions you may have and will make a full report so that you are aware of any current or potential problems.
