Maintenance and Repair

UPS Servicing

We will arrange for one of our UPS Engineers to attend site to carry out UPS Maintenance.

This will include a thorough inspection of the UPS with replacements being fitted as and when necessary in line with contract type.

Our visit will include the following checks and tests:

Rectifier, AC/DC, Battery charger

• Visual check of wiring, cables and interconnections
• Visual check of the devices, PCB’s drivers
• Measurements: input current, DC voltage, battery current limitation
• Check of alarms and parameters

Inverter DC/AC

• Visual check of wiring, cables and interconnections
• Visual check of the devices, PCB’s drivers
• Inverter input current check
• Verification of voltage variation at the inverter input
• Measurement of the inverter output voltage on all phases
• Verification of synchronisation between emergency line and Inverter
• Monitor and verify system parameters as shown on the panel display and with software.

Static Switch AC/AC

• Visual check of wiring, cables and interconnections
• Visual check of PCB drivers/Contactor
• Bypass line input voltage check
• Verification of bypass line / inverter synchronisation
• Inverter to bypass transfer (and vice-versa)
• Manual bypass check

Batteries

• Visual inspection
• Battery Age
• Tightness Check
• Battery test
• Battery discharge test (connected load)
• Load bank testing (POA)

System

• Cleaning
• Ventilation
• Temperature (System and Ambient)

PPM

Our engineer will answer any questions you may have and will make a full report so that you are aware of any current or potential problems.
